1Service Description

AEO Crawler is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) scoring and analysis platform. The Service allows you to crawl websites, score their content across multiple AEO dimensions, and receive recommendations for improving visibility in AI-powered answer engines.

The Service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to registered users.

2Account Registration

To access most features of AEO Crawler, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Crawl websites in a manner that violates their robots.txt directives or terms of service
• Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service attacks or overload target servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account
• Use the Service to collect personal data about third parties without their consent
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent
• Use automated scripts to abuse or circumvent Service rate limits
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, are in violation of these acceptable use requirements.

4Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, scoring algorithms, and content (excluding content you submit), is owned by AI:nstein Apps and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own internal business purposes.

You retain all rights to the URLs and content you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of any content you analyze through the Service.

The "AEO Crawler" name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of AI:nstein Apps. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

5Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Billing is processed on the same day each month as your original subscription date.
• Payment processor: All payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Upon cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.
• Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge.
• Price changes: We may change our prices at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before your next billing cycle.
• Failed payments: If payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. Continued payment failure may result in suspension of your account.

6Data Handling

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

Crawl results, scores, and recommendations generated by the Service are stored and associated with your account. We do not sell your data to third parties. We use aggregated and anonymized data to improve the Service.

7Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AEO scores and recommendations are based on our best current understanding of AI search engine signals and are not guarantees of any particular result in AI-powered search tools.

8Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI:nstein Apps and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

9Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, for extended periods of inactivity on free accounts, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon account deletion, your crawl history and associated data will be scheduled for removal in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that these Terms cannot override.

11Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
